Kris Roomet  Kristina Roomet Joins
Catamount Trail Association Board

January, 2010 -  PF+C attorney Kristina M. Roomet has joined the Board of Directors of the Catamount Trail Association (“CTA”).   CTA was formed in 1984 and is a member-supported, non-profit organization with the purpose of building, maintaining and protecting the Catamount Trail as a public resource, and furthering cross-country skiing in the state. Ms. Roomet is a member of the Environmental, Health & Safety Law, Energy & Utilities Law, and Property & Development teams at Paul Frank + Collins.  Prior to attending law school, she worked with several non-profit organizations, including the Hinesburg Land Trust and a bicycling non-profit in Oregon.

Hall, has been recognized nationally as one of America's top land use/zoning, real estate and construction litigation attorneys in the 2010 Super Lawyers Corporate Counsel Edition.  This Edition of Super Lawyers features the top five percent of corporate counsel attorneys nationwide.  The selection process includes peer nominations, a blue ribbon panel review and additional independent research of the candidate.  

Mr. Hall is a member of the Environmental, Health & Safety Law, Energy & Utilities Law, and Property & Development and Litigation teams at Paul Frank + Collins.  He was also listed in New England Super Lawyers in 2008 and 2009.   

 

Frank V. Petrosino, Esq.  Petrosino Article Published by

December 29, 2009 -  The Winter 2009-2010 edition of Vermont Connections, a publication of the Vermont Chamber of Commerce featured PF+C attorney Frank V. Petrosino’s article entitled, “Cancellation Policies and the Dreaded Chargeback.”   The article addresses the issue of cancellation policies for lodging establishments and whether to fight or concede in the event of a chargeback, as it could be the difference in sustaining business.  Over the past three years, Mr. Petrosino has been a recurring author in Vermont Connections.  Mr. Petrosino has over 12 years of experience handling complex business matters such as merger and acquisitions, the formation and organization of new business ventures, federal and state taxation and commercial lending.  He has written a number of articles on a wide range of business and hospitality law topics.

Peter McDougall Elected President of
Champlain Community Services Board

Peter J. McDougall

December 1, 2009 -  PF+C attorney Peter J. McDougall has been elected as President of the Board of Directors of Champlain Community Services, Inc. (“CCS”).   CCS is a United Way member agency that has provided support to people with developmental disabilities throughout northern Vermont for over 40 years.  The mission of CCS is to help individuals with developmental disabilities experience all of life's opportunities by enhancing self-esteem, maximizing independence and enabling community membership. CCS offers one-to-one employment, residential, school-transition, and social supports to adults and children with developmental disabilities.

Mr. McDougall is a member of the Captive Insurance and Corporate law teams at Paul Frank + Collins, with a focus on financial and business services.  He has served on the CCS board for over two years and was the vice-president for the past year.
