Paul Frank + Collins Helps Local Artist “Grow”

August, 2008 - Paul Frank + Collins recently assisted Ms. Gisela Alpert, a local artist, in acquiring a facility in Milton that will house her expanding artist studio and gallery. At "Lionheart Art," Ms. Alpert creates vibrant, extremely colorful paintings that range from portraiture to abstract pieces, and include many deeply textured still lifes of flowers and other natural items. Her favorite medium is oil on canvas.

Now a resident Vermonter, Ms. Alpert has lived and worked in Frankfurt, Germany and Montréal, Canada. Her international experience shows in her deeply nuanced and eclectic work.

In addition to filling her new facilities in Milton, Ms. Alpert's work will be included in the upcoming show entitled "Reflections on Basin Harbor." This ten-day, juried show is an annual event for which the Basin Harbor Club & Resort - located in Vergennes, Vermont - invites up-and-coming Vermont artists to produce pieces reflecting Basin Harbor and its surroundings. The show will run at the resort from August 22 through September 1, with an opening reception on August 22.
