Environment, Health & Safety

Paul Frank + Collins's Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) practice group provides a wide variety of clients with sophisticated solutions to EHS concerns throughout Vermont and other parts of the country.  They routinely represent clients before federal, state, and local authorities in all types of EHS matters, including facility permitting and regulatory compliance, and including energy and infrastructure projects such as the siting and permitting of power generating and transmission facilities, and other energy-related projects.

Our EHS attorneys have extensive experience managing and defending environmental and property damage claims, including agency enforcement actions, complex federal and state contribution and cost recovery litigation, and private party claims seeking injunctive relief and reimbursement for property damage.

In addition, our attorneys specialize in managing all aspects of environmental site remediation and related development projects, including “Brownfield” projects, and including regulatory and multi-party negotiations, site access, development permitting, use of institutional controls and public relations.

We also have significant experience assisting clients with worker and workplace safety issues, including OSHA and VOSHA enforcement and administrative litigation.
