Ms. Sibold is a member of the Employment and Labor Law team at Paul Frank + Collins where she advises employers on how to comply with state and federal law and counsels them in matters such as employee discrimination claims, employee discharges, hostile work environment claims, employee handbooks, OSHA, HIPAA, Fair Labor Standards Act requirements and wage payment requirements. She represents businesses of all sizes in the formation and implementation of policies and procedures to prevent and rectify compliance failures with respect to federal and state employment and labor regulations. Ms. Sibold only represents employers (she does not provide counsel for employees), enabling her to practice from a strictly pro-business standpoint.
Prior to joining PF+C, Ms. Sibold was an associate in the employment law department of Steptoe & Johnson for six years. At Steptoe, Ms. Sibold worked primarily on employment law matters and represented employers charged with violation of state and federal anti-discrimination laws as well as unfair labor practices under the National Labor Relations Act (“NLRA”). She also regularly presented seminars and advised employers on matters focused on limiting legal liability for employment-related policies and decisions. Ms. Sibold was also a frequent contributor to the West Virginia employment law publication. She also has significant experience representing the West Virginia ski industry in the defense of numerous personal injury civil actions resulting from skiing, snowboarding and other outdoor recreational activities.
