Sue A. Courchaine, Senior Paralegal

Sue Courchaine has over fifteen years of combined experience assisting clients in the areas of Captive Insurance and Litigation.  Sue is now the senior paralegal in Paul Frank + Collins' Captive Insurance Group, and she works extensively with Attorneys Alan Port, Stephanie Mapes, William Riley and Peter McDougall.  Her work includes handling day-to-day corporate records preparation and management for the Group.  Sue also participates in managing preparations for annual meetings, preparing meeting minutes and related follow up tasks.  In addition, Sue assists our captive clients in their efforts to comply with State regulatory requirements, including regular examinations conducted by the Vermont Department of Insurance.

Sue also has extensive litigation experience, including managing complex cases with multiple parties and voluminous evidentiary materials.  The firm utilizes Sue's expertise in these areas on an as-needed basis, which gives Sue an opportunity to work on complex cases in different practice areas throughout the firm.

Sue actively supports the Vermont Captive Insurance Association.
Sue lives in Wolcott with her husband and three daughters.  Her daughters excel in various athletic endeavors, and she supports their efforts and the local sports community by actively participating in her daughters’ sports programs.
