As Vice President of Operations for PF+C Insurance Services, LLC, Ms. Barlow is responsible for monitoring claims to ensure compliance with internal claims management and external reporting guidelines.  Her duties include bordereaux preparation and claim data analysis for a variety of clients. She also oversees service team structures and work-loads to meet new and existing client needs.  Additionally, she manages her own book of claims. 

Ms. Barlow manages the run-off of two casualty claims portfolios for the London market, where her responsibilities include managing local defense and coverage counsel, identifying coverage issues, setting reserves, attending court trials and depositions and supervising claims staff.  She also manages two captive insurance liability claims programs, one for a risk retention group insuring GL exposures and the other for a group captive insuring professional liability exposures.

Ms. Barlow’s other duties include assisting the Claims Consulting Practice with TPA, defense counsel and coverholder audits for property, casualty and reinsurance claims programs.  Her audit duties include on-site review, post-review data analysis and audit report preparation.

Ms. Barlow has over 20 years of insurance industry experience, working both at the agency and company level.  Prior to joining PF+C in 2003, Ms. Barlow worked with General Casualty in W. Springfield, MA as a member of the litigation unit specializing in third party property claims.

Ms. Barlow is a licensed P&C Claims Adjuster (excluding Workers Compensation) in Vermont, New Hampshire and Minnesota, and has earned her AIC designation.

Ms. Barlow attended Springfield Technical Community College and regularly attends industry seminars and conferences, including PLRB.  She is the President of the Vermont Claims Association.
