Paul Frank + Collins and the Vermont Community Paul Frank + Collins is committed to maintaining a strong and visible partnership with the Vermont community. Our first level of commitment is to our employees and their families. As a firm, we function as cohesive team and view all members of that team, support staff and attorneys alike, as colleagues and partners in serving our clients. We are proud to provide solid financial support to our sixty families and to provide a healthy work environment for our employees.
Consistent with this team philosophy, Paul Frank + Collins maintains a warm and professional atmosphere, guided by mutual resepct and active personnel management. Our clients continually express gratitude for the respectful and skillful attention they receive from all firm staff.
As an extension of our commitment to our own employees, Paul Frank + Collins provides a significant amount of free legal service to many area community organizations and individuals. Over the years, the firm has dedicated many hours of professional legal support to such organizations as the Greater Burlington YMCA, the Green Mountain Club, the Vermont Independent School Association, State Commissions, and the Vermont Audubon Society . Moreover, firm attorneys provide free services in connection with Vermont Legal Aid and as assigned counsel in various court matters.
The firm itself is an active member of community organizations, as are our individual members. A general sampling of the firm's active memberships includes the Lane Series , the Vermont Business Roundtable , VABIR , First Night and the Flynn Theater . Individual members of Paul Frank + Collins– and therefore the firm–contribute hundreds of hours per year to Board work for community institutions. We extend the use of our physical plant to many community groups and organizations.
Finally, the firm sponsors both community organizations and events through programs in the Lane Series, Vermont Public Television , Vermont Public Radio , the Flynn Theater and First Night, among a host of others. Our firm is a very active participant in United Way campaigns, and won two awards from the United Way of Chittenden County in May, 2007 for its highly successful 2006 campaign. The firm has a formal program for charitable giving that is governed by a Committee and is administered by our Office Manager, Cynthia Goodrich. We support many educational institutions by that means, as well as through scholarship programs.
We recognize our good fortune to live and work in Vermont. Paul Frank + Collins will continue to express our commitment to our community in as many ways as possible. We look forward to continuing to serve and support the Vermont community in as many ways as possible. |
