Adeline is a partner at PF+C and leads the firm’s immigration team. She represents companies and individuals in all areas of immigration law, including nonimmigrant and immigrant employment-based immigration matters. She has extensive experience representing Canadian clients applying for work authorizations with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers under the USMCA/NAFTA, following a U.S. acquisition, investment or the opening of a new U.S. office/manufacturing facility. She regularly rehabilitates challenging NAFTA/USMCA cases and files waivers of admissibility to the U.S. for individuals denied entry to the U.S. on criminal of health related grounds. She also handles all green card matters including EB-1, EB-2 and PERM labor certification filings with the U.S. Department of Labor.

A French native speaker, Adeline has French, Swiss and American citizenships. She is also a permanent resident of Canada and travels back and forth to Montreal, QC to meet with clients. Her corporate clients range from startups to multinationals with 10,000+ employees, operating in various industries: manufacturing, technology, life sciences, specialized construction, entertainment, food and beverage, distribution, etc.

Prior to joining PF+C in 2013, Adeline practiced immigration law in Santa Monica, CA. Between 2004 and 2010, she was an Adjunct Professor (European Union Law and Transnational Sales Law) at the University Of Southern California Gould School Of Law in Los Angeles, CA. She acted as Immigration Counsel to the French Consulate General of France in Los Angeles from 2010 through 2013.

Prepared hundreds of TN applications for Canadian clients for presentation at various ports of entry or preclearance airports; successfully challenged TN denials at various ports of entry or preclearance airports

Prepared waivers of inadmissibility (criminal & health-related grounds)

Prepared numerous O-1 petitions for various artists

Prepared EB-1 petitions for individuals with extraordinary ability in the arts, and business fields

Prepared PERM labor certifications

Prepared B-1 including B-1 in lieu of H-1B

Prepared numerous H-1B petitions

Prepared numerous family-based green card petitions and naturalizations applications

Counseled Human Resources managers on compliance issues related to Form I-9 and during FDNS visits

Advised corporate clients on visa matters impacted by corporate restructuring
