Pamela L.P. Eaton Director
Pam Eaton focuses primarily on civil litigation and appeals. Pam represents individual, corporate, and institutional clients in a variety of civil lawsuits, including malpractice, wrongful death, product liability defense, premises liability, and general liability defense. Pam’s practice also extends to administrative proceedings and investigations.
Pam frequently serves as local counsel on behalf of attorneys handling litigation in the State and Federal courts in Vermont. She brings a high degree of professionalism and sensitivity to each matter and provides superior service while respecting the existing attorney/client relationship.
Prior to joining PF+C, Pam worked as in-house counsel for a service organization specializing in reliability requirements for electric utilities. She also clerked for the Office of the Defender General in Montpelier, Vermont.

Mullinnex v. Menard, 2020 VT 33: Prevailed before the Vermont Supreme Court on question of whether a court has subject matter jurisdiction when an individual has not exhausted administrative remedies before filing a complaint.
Bittner v. Centurion of Vermont, LLC, 2021 VT 73: Prevailed before the Vermont Supreme Court on an interlocutory appeal on the question of how to determine when a case is a “rare instance” that does not require expert testimony.
Congress v. State of Vermont, 2022 VT 62: Prevailed before the Vermont Supreme Court on question on the application of the Vermont Public Accommodations Act to an entity that was not alleged to have “authority or control” over services being provided.
