Paul Frank + Collins P.C. announces that attorneys Megan Sigur and Stephen Ellis have been elected as Shareholders and Directors of the firm.

Attorney Sigur has worked in the firm’s Insurance Services practice since 2015 where she focuses primarily on advising domestic and London market insurers on complex legal and insurance related matters. Attorney Sigur graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi, TX in 2008 where she majored in History and minored in Philosophy. She graduated magna cum laude from Vermont Law School in 2012. Attorney Sigur is also admitted in the state of New Hampshire where she served two years as a law clerk for the New Hampshire Superior Court in Laconia, N.H.

Attorney Ellis was a lateral hire in 2019 to the firm’s Litigation and Labor and Employment teams where he serves as a trial and appellate advocate, arbitrator, and mediator. Attorney Ellis said, “I’m honored to join PF+C as a Member and Director. We have realized the synergies we anticipated when I joined the firm Of Counsel. The firm is comprised of extraordinary professionals at the top of their fields, providing exceptional support for my practice and my clients on a broad platform. Aside from the culture of professional excellence and integrity, which I expected based on personal experience, I appreciate the firm’s sound management and its commitment to its people and our communities.   I look forward to contributing to the firm’s bright future.”

Attorney Ellis earned his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law, and is a Hampshire College alum. He has an established record of success in numerous complex civil trials and appeals before federal and state courts, including the United States Supreme Court, and in administrative agencies, throughout Vermont and in multiple other jurisdictions.

The firm’s President, Peter McDougall, commented, “We are thrilled that Megan and Steve have become shareholders and directors of PF+C.  Both are tremendous attorneys and colleagues and I look forward to their participation in the management of PF+C as owners of the firm.”
