Burlington, Vermont based Paul Frank + Collins seeks an enthusiastic entry-level to mid-level associate lawyer for our Captive Insurance and Business Transactions Teams.
The Captive Insurance Team at Paul Frank + Collins provides captive insurance representation and tax advice to a broad range of captive insurance companies cutting across industries, license types, and sizes. The owners of the captives we work with range from the largest Fortune 500 companies to middle market companies, as well as a variety of non-profit entities. We use a team approach to support the sophisticated and diverse insurance programs that evolve with our clients’ needs.
Our Business Transactions Team provides legal services to a diverse range of clients across a variety of industries and geographical footprints. We help our clients solve complex problems at all stages of the lives of their businesses.
Excellent academic credentials, analytical abilities, and verbal and written communication skills are required. Candidates must have a serious interest and commitment to living and working in the wonderful state of Vermont.

Strong administrative, organizational, communication and writing skills are required. This position requires at least three years of experience. French speaking is a plus. Proficiency with MS Office products is critical and strong technology capabilities are also needed.

Paul Frank + Collins is hiring a full-time IT Support Specialist to provide technical support, superior customer service, and customized training sessions for 50+ users virtually and at our main office. The support specialist will be responsible for providing first line response to end users requiring assistance with computer systems, hardware, or software issues. This person will respond to queries, run diagnostic programs, isolate problems, and determine and implement solutions. PF+C’s support specialist will support MS Windows 10 & 11, MS Office 365 (proficiency with Word and Excel required), VOIP, Citrix/VPN, desktops, printer, monitors, keyboards, multi-factor authentications, SmartPhones (Android & iPhone) and other mobile devices, legal specific software, etc.

A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required and our ideal candidate will have 2+ years of relevant support experience. Microsoft Certifications and experience working in a law firm is preferred, but we will consider motivated candidates without such expertise.
Our ideal candidate will be technically proficient, approachable, responsive, and able to listen carefully and ask pertinent questions to troubleshoot problems in a calm and courteous manner. Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to prioritize workloads under strict deadlines is necessary.
This position is full-time, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some flexibility to handle calls on occasion after hours may be required. This position reports to the firm’s IT Manager.
