Emily Chamberlain Adams, PHR, SHRM-CP Associate

Emily Adams is a member of the Employment + Labor and Litigation teams. Her practices focuses on assisting private employers, municipalities, school districts, and non-profits with employment litigation defense, advising clients regarding compliance with state and federal laws, drafting effective employer policies, and providing guidance throughout the labor negotiations process.

Emily utilizes her Professional of Human Resources (PHR) and Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certifications to assist management teams and HR professionals in making informed decisions regarding all aspects of the employment relationship.

Prior to joining PF+C, Emily worked as a legal intern for the Office of the Attorney General of Vermont in the Civil Rights Unit and as a Judicial Clerk for the Honorable William K. Sessions of the United States District Court, District of Vermont. She also clerked for two Burlington law firms during law school.   

Emily hails from the small town of Goshen, Vermont, and enjoys working with employers throughout her home state and the northeast. Now a resident of Duxbury, Emily enjoys all things outdoors. In her free time, she can be found working on the ongoing construction of her family home, running, or doing yoga.
